Aerial Platform – Scissor and Boom Lift Operator Training
This program teaches participants to operate aerial work platforms in a safe efficient manner. The method of instruction enables operators to recognize the hazards associated with aerial work platform operation, follow recognized safe practices and take steps to control these hazards. This program provides all the training necessary to have your drivers qualified as competent and efficient aerial work platform operators. According to Ontario’s Health & Safety (OH&S) Act employers, supervisors and workers must be aware of hazards and dangers to workers in the workplace. These hazards often cause injury to personnel, damage to equipment and product as well as reduce the efficiency of the operation. Training is presented in an easy to understand format using visual, written and verbal instruction.
We offer a two-part program consisting of a theory segment and a practical evaluation including use of fall protection equipment related to aerial work platforms.
