Fall Protection Training

According to Ontario’s Health & Safety Act employers, supervisors and workers must be aware of hazards and dangers to workers in the workplace. These hazards often cause injury to personnel, damage to equipment and product as well as reduce the efficiency of the operation. Our Fall Protection Training enables workers to recognize the hazards associated with using fall protection equipment, follow recognized safe practices and take steps to control these hazards. This program provides all the training necessary to have your workers be considered as competent and efficient in the use of this equipment. Training is presented in an easy to understand format using visual, written and verbal instruction.

We offer a two-part program consisting of a theory segment and a practical evaluation in the use of fall protection equipment.

Theory

• CSA Standards & OH&S Act & Regulations reviewed
• Personal protective equipment requirements
• Inspection requirements
• Understanding fall distances
• Emergency rescue requirements

Practical Evaluation

Participant will be evaluated for:

• Proper donning and adjustment
• Inspection of the equipment
• Use of fall protection equipment
• Rescue scenarios
